Bainbridge Island Real Estate Market Report: November 2024
I love December. If you know me well, you'll be surprised to hear it's not because it marks the start of ski season.
Rather, I recently attended my coach's annual business planning conference in AZ which this year included a sunny round of golf with him and a few foursomes of fellow brokers. And to make this year’s trip a “life list” event, my sons flew down and we spent a few days at the Grand Canyon and then witnessed the Seahawks beat the Cardinals.
Throw in Geneva’s first time performing in The Nutcracker and her birthday next week, a weekend in Portland with Truman for his lacrosse tournament, Desmond’s first time performing in a school play and plans for our family to retreat to a cabin near The Mountain at the end of the month where I get to have a ski date with Mairead, and December’s family time is adding up to the whole being much greater than the sum of its parts.
With 2025 on the horizon, I wish you and your loved ones a December full of downtime, rest and relaxation. And I hope it’s full of opportunities to take wonderful selfies that all add up to a month to cherish.
As for the housing market, November was relatively uneventful. And by that I mean normal; all the metrics that measure activity were values you would have expected to see back in the five years prior to 2020. Check out my Bainbridge Island Market Report to hear all the details.
