ABRIDGED JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • There are various roles and tasks that can be conducted remotely, in-person and/or client-facing, depending on your availability, desires and skill set.
  • Interface with seller-clients and vendors to support the logistics of preparing properties for the market.
  • Support buyer-clients with the time-sensitive tasks required to prepare them to win in a fast-paced market.
  • Coordinate the execution of client-care activities and various types of marketing projects.

EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS:

  • No experience in the real estate industry, or sales of any kind, is required.
  • Experience managing workflows of projects that require managing timelines and multiple people is strongly preferred. Note: Jason is a former middle school science teacher and understands that skills and attributes do not necessarily go hand in hand with past work titles.
  • What matters is the willingness to rise and grind, learn new things each day and focus on helping people.
  • Candidates must possess a positive outlook on the world and have an optimistic approach to building success in their life.

REQUIREMENTS; YOU MUST BE:

  • Trustworthy with a moral compass that never wavers from true north.
  • A self-starter and problem-solver, able to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to the week's demands.
  • A superb communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Respectful of people's time, because "if you're not early, you're late."
  • Able to keep all matters confidential and resist the desire to appear "in the know."
  • Attentive to the finest details because "good enough is never good enough."
  • Savvy with technology and able to learn new systems.
  • Comfortable interacting with all kinds of people in a variety of situations.
  • Courteous and live by the rule of "kill them with kindness."
  • Willing to consider bringing your Bainbridge Island/Kitsap/Greater Seattle-area personal contacts into Jason's marketing plan (this will broaden your ability to have positive impact on the lives of people who know/like/trust you, as well as greatly increase your earning power).
  • Willing to consider obtaining a real estate license and become a member of the NWMLS through an arrangement with Windermere Real Estate, Bainbridge Island (it's possible that two candidates will be hired for separate roles and one will not require a license, so do not let this stop you from applying).

COMPENSATION:

  • There are various 1099 roles that may blend hourly rate of pay with an additional bonus structure.
  • Starting rate is between $30-50 per hour, depending on qualifications and duties performed.
  • Depending on the role played in sourcing business as well as in getting transactions closed, bonuses may be paid as a "split" of commission at closing.
