Bainbridge Island Real Estate Market Report: May 2020
confirmed: this is a health crisis, not a housing crisis
The numbers are clear, the market is rebounding:
- We are seeing significant interest from Seattle buyers who are fleeing King County to find peace and respite in Kitsap County.
- Closed sales were down 50% from a normal May, indicative of the slowdown that took hold in April.
- Both new listings and pending sales in May were up significantly over April, well over 50%.
- The high number of showings and offers supports the metrics that show it's still a strong seller's market
